Corn Chowder

Dan and I love this recipe and quite often make it on a snowy day! It's a cream based soup with potatoes, bacon and corn. Yummy! We usually quadruple the recipe though to have a nice sized pot of soup simmering.

  • 2½ c milk
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Dice potatoes and boil until soft. Drain.
  2. Cut bacon into small pieces and then fry bacon and onion.
  3. Drain grease.
  4. Combine all ingredients and heat to simmering. Stir frequently.
  5. Once simmering, remove from heat, and it is ready to serve!
